Hotels, venues, practitioners and hosts
Experience development partnerships in China.
Serica works with hotels, residences, restaurants, cultural practitioners and other hosts. The work may be one private commission, a recurring guest format or a complete experience developed for a property.

Two starting points
Contribute a place or practice, or commission a guest experience.
A contributor brings an existing setting, practice or capability. A commissioner brings a guest brief and asks Serica to research, design, test and document the experience.
01
Create with Serica
Contribute an existing capability
For hosts and practitioners offering an existing place, practice or capability that could support a private guest experience.
02
Commission Serica
Commission a new format
For hospitality groups, brands and institutions that need a new guest experience researched, piloted and prepared for delivery.
A hotel, restaurant or residence may take either role. The proposal defines who supplies the setting, who commissions the work and who operates it.
Development scope
Concept, pilot, operating plan and review.
The scope is agreed for each commission and may include guest research, collaborator selection, live testing, staff guidance and scheduled quality review.
01
Define the brief
Document the audience, place, desired outcome, constraints and success criteria.
02
Test the experience
Develop the guest route, confirm collaborators and run a live pilot before repeat delivery.
03
Document responsibility
Set ownership, operating roles, recovery steps and the review schedule in a usable plan.
Commercial and creative terms
Define authorship and operating responsibility before development.
Ownership, credits, use of Serica’s name, intellectual property, confidentiality, supplier contracting and quality responsibilities are agreed before development advances.
Depending on the work, a format may be Serica-authored, co-branded, white-label, licensed or commissioned for a defined property or period.
Partner enquiry
Describe the property, practice or guest brief.
Include the location, audience, operating team, desired launch period and whether you want to contribute an existing capability or commission a new format.
